Participants interested in making an oral or poster presentation are invited to submit an abstract. All abstracts will undergo review by the Abstract Review Committee, to determine which abstracts may be accepted.

Your abstract must be submitted online. Please do not submit multiple copies of the same abstract.
To submit your abstract, you must have an account created on this submission platform.
The account will allow you to access all your created/submitted abstracts, learn about their status (accepted/rejected).
To create an account in the submission platform, please visit “Create Account” section of the portal.
Once all the mandatory sections are filled in, the system will automatically generate your username and password.
It is the author’s responsibility to submit a correct abstract; any errors in spelling, grammar or scientific fact will be reproduced as typed by the author, if accepted.
Please follow carefully the instructions reported on the submission platform and fill in all the requested fields, in order to guarantee a correct and complete publication of the text.
All correspondence concerning the abstract will be sent to the registered author who is responsible for informing co-authors of the status of the abstract.
Each corresponding Author (submitter) can send limitless abstracts. Each accepted abstract has to be presented by a different Presenting Author.
In order to attend the Congress, the presenting author of the accepted abstract must be registered.
Changes to the abstract after the submission are not accepted.
You can save your abstract, amend it any time before the final sending (i.e make changes or corrections, adding or removing authors, etc.).
When you are totally sure about your abstract you have to click on SEND ABSTRACT button on the submission platform.
Please note, your abstract will not be submitted unless you click on “send abstract” button on the submission platform.
The maximum size of abstracts is limited to 3.200 characters including spaces.
Insert the title and the abstract text in the fields, we suggest you to “Copy and Paste” the abstract text from a saved document file, please avoid to type the text directly in the boxes, you have only 20 minutes at your disposal.
Once on the submission page, you have 20 minutes to complete submission or save a draft of your abstract for further modifications.
Please enter the authors in the correct order, as this will be the order they will appear in all the published material. In case you wish to change the order, please use the arrow button next to the names of the respective authors.
One of the authors must be selected as the Presenting Author.
The Presenting Author must pay the registration fee to be able to present his/her work during the Congress.
Presenting Authors aged <35 are eligible for the Best Oral or Best Poster communication Award.
Please enter the Presenting Author’s birth date while submitting the abstract.
Presenting Authors can pay the special fee for Authors (early registration fee) when they receive the acceptance notification. The registration platform will require to enter the abstract’s code to verify your abstract has been accepted.
Once the abstract is sent, the submitter will receive an e-mail indicating the code allocated to the abstract. Please refer to this code in all correspondence with the Organizing Secretariat regarding the abstract.

Writing & submitting your abstract
The abstract should be as informative as possible.
Keywords: please suggest 3 keywords that describe the content of the abstract.
Standard abbreviations may be used.
Before you begin, please prepare the following information:
• Presenting author’s date of birth
• Author and co-authors’ details: full first and family name(s), degree, specialty, job title, email address
• Affiliation details: institution / hospital, city, country
Presentation type, please choose from one of the following:
• Oral presentation
• Poster presentation
Abstract title: Limited to 3200 characters including spaces
Abstract text: The complete abstract must not exceed 3200 characters including spaces (approx. 350 words)

Presentation at Congress
Instructions for preparation of oral or poster presentations will be sent together with acceptance notifications.
The presenting author of the accepted abstract must register and attend the Congress.
The oral communications that will not be accepted, can be presented as posters.
